Orelia proudly took part in the Mary Portas Living & Giving event at their Westbourne Grove Shop, back at the end of March.

A revolutionary concept, the Living & Giving stores merges the best of high fashion, charity shopping and local talent, in which all the money raised helps save children’s lives around the world. Stylist Mrs Jones was on hand to give out fashion tips and advice, and shoppers were treated to a complimentary glass of champagne and goodie bag, in which Orelia donated our favourite summer rope necklaces!

Orelia will continue to support this fantastic cause, so get yourselves down to Westbourne Grove for some guilt-free ethical shopping! And don’t forget to look through your wardrobe and bring along your donations!

A visit to Columbia Road flower market kicked off Spring in style! What better way to spend a beautiful Sunday than browsing the sweetly scented stalls and independant shops of East London. Head here if you want a real taste of our Capital’s roots… Fill your head with the chant of the barrow boys “Everythin’ a fiver” and the scents of stunning flowers including my favourites - jasmine, hyacinth, antique pink roses and hydrangeas. Stop off for brunch at one of the tempting cafes dotted around the area, and pop into a few of the many art galleries. Top it all off with a spot of vintage shopping and go home with a Spring in your step!

It was my good friend Philippe’s 40th Birthday and we needed to celebrate in style so we thought where better than Berlin! So we packed our bag, hopped on a plane and met 20 of his friends from Paris there. There was no chance of sight seeing (this time) so we headed straight to one of the best hotels Soho House for afternoon drinks by the pool on the roof top. Philippe booked a party room for us all so after an outfit change it was time for dinner. We enjoyed  three amazing courses of european delights including a very big birthday cake! Now our stomachs were lined it was time to dance the night away with our very own DJ’s Ahmed & Xavier… there was no stopping me on the dance floor! After that little taster I will be planning my next trip back to explore more of this beautiful city and definately more sightseeing is needed!
