Artist Poppy Chancellor commissions stunning paper cut-outs, of which one lucky member of our team was treated to for Valentines day (aww!)

Her work is so beautiful we simply had to share it with you. Check out Poppy’s website to see more examples of these gorgeous cut-outs, and get in touch with her for some beautiful personalised artwork fof that extra special gift.

I should mention that Poppy’s work was found through the wonderful ladies from a-littlebird.com, without whom our special lady would never have received such a treasured Valentines gift!

Today we are celebrating the Birthday of Daisy, who has reached the grand old age of 27!

We have been busy indulging in macaroons and chocolate eclairs, YUM.

We do love a good birthday at the office… any excuse for cake!

We were in craft HEAVEN when shopping for ribbon for our internet orders on our trip!

This store was head-to-toe full of the most amazing reels of loveliness: spotty, dotty, stripy, plaid, shiny, matt… you name it!

We simply had to share these gorgeous pics (which are currently gracing our desktops as backgrounds!)

We just got back from an exciting sourcing trip to Hong Kong where we shopped till we dropped! Hong Kong is full of amazing designer shops as well as cool markets and cute independent boutiques. Great for inspiring us with the new Orelia AW12 range.

After all that hard work shopping we needed some energy and where better to go for food than the Lobby Lounge at The Intercontinental Hotel. (Obviously) Ordering one of their finest posh burgers.
We sat back and watched the amazing laser light show over Hong Kong island, this happens every evening at 8pm. The view is breathtaking!

All in all we had a very successful trip and can’t wait to go back…. burger anyone?

It’s a very special day here in our Brighton Studio… It’s the wonderful Emma G’s Brithday!!! So as a treat we surprised her with some beautiful cupackes from the Angel Bakery, and an afternoon visit from Billy the sausage dog (on loan from the lovely Rik up the road at Square-Roots Hair Salon!)

Emma is our Senior Buyers Admin Assistant and has been working at Orelia since September 2010, having graduated from the London College of Fashion’s Buying & Merchandising Degree. Emma assists in all aspects of the buying role, including organising all samples, ensuring deliveries are on track, working with the product from range building right through to in-store, liasing with clients around the world, visiting stores across the country and even the odd trip to Paris!!! Emma’s hard work at Orelia ensures our jewellery reaches you looking fabulous and ready for you to enjoy!

So Emma, here’s wishing you a happy happy birthday from all the Team! xxx

Hello from the Orelia Design Team!!

We thought we’d let you in on what we’ve been up to here at Orelia head-quarters, so here’s a sneak preview…

We’re so excited to be launching our very first exclusive bespoke range, handmade right here in our Brighton studio!
Each piece is individually designed and crafted using a mixture of vintage components, glass & semi-precious beads, fabric trimmings and eclectic charms – made especially for you by us! Each piece is truly unique, making the perfect gift or self-indulgent treat!

We always love designing for the Orelia main range, but this project gave us the chance to be extra creative and
experiment with new ideas and techniques… a designers dream!!!

We really hope you love this capsule range as much as we loved creating it!
