I have just got back from designing our BEAUTIFUL new AW13 collection! I visited uber cool Korea and fascinating India to see our suppliers and create new designs with them... I love it there, it is so vibrant and the shops are amazing!
I went around markets where I rummaged for new charms to update our collection. Then I designed around our 3 new winter stories that I’m very excited for you to see!
Beads glorious beads! I was in heaven!
The food is great in Korea, I always have Bim bim bap which means ‘mixed rice’ this traditional dish served in a hot bowl contains rice and seasoned vegetables.
Topped with a raw egg and chilli paste to spice it up, the rice keeps cooking in the bowl whilst you mix up the ingredients... yum!
The streets were lit up in magical Christmas lights – everywhere! I felt so Christmassy.
In the evening I explored the night market where you can get traditional street food... check out these delights! Sausage on a stick, with a spiral of potato ooh soo good.
Next stop New Delhi, India! The weather was GREAT so out came my flip flops! I stayed at The Park Hotel. Indian food is my favourite so I was looking forward to eating a good curry!
India is well known for their street markets full of embellished fabrics, scarves and bags – I love the intricate beaded hand work, so beautiful. I picked up some lovely bits for inspiration – keep checking our accessories section on our websitefor our winter 2013 collection.
It was a short visit in India. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to see the sights but managed to get a shot of this beautiful old building
